A signing ceremony was held between Yunnan Puer Linda wood industry Co. Ltd and Guangdong Komo Co.,Ltd. in Ningpu County of Yunnan province, the two companies reach agreement to establish Yunnan’s biggest gum rosin derivatives production facility which annually produce 40 thousand Mt gum rosin derivatives, the establishment will make Ning Er become a key forest chemical production base in the province.
Ning Er County has abundant forest resource; forest coverage rate reached 74.04%, with an area of 283 thousand hectares. The total timber resource reaches 20.76 million cubic meters; however, forest chemical industry of the count far lag behind its resource for long term, base on advantage of forest resource, local government actively attracts external investment in this sector. Komo who is one of leading gum rosin and gum turpentine derivatives producers in China has reached a joint venture with local leading forest product company, Yunnan Bu Er Linda Forest Product Co.,Ltd to produce 30 thousand Mt gum rosin, 10 thousand Mt disproportionated rosin and 30 thousand Mt gum rosin resin per year; the total investment reaches 75 million RMB and the project will be put into production in the end of next year.
