China became one of the main terpine resin producers in the world, with annual output of 26 thousand tons in the past two years. On May 15th, before the opening of 2007 Gum Rosin Conference, in Zhangjiajie Blue Sky Hotel, thirteen main terpine resin producers from Jiangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangsu and other province got together to found Terpine Resin Association. Doctor Zhao from Institute of Chemical Industry of forest Product, Zao Xiangming, deputy director general of Jiujiang Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau, Mr. Peitao, chief editor of www.rosin-china.com, were invited to the founding symposium.
The symposium was presided by Mr. Xiao Yixuan, general manager of Jiangxi Suichuan Xinhai Chemical Co.,Ltd., the constitution of Terpine Resin Association was discussed and ratified at the symposium. Secretary and directors of the association have been selected. Doctor Zhao and Mr. Zao give their advice on the establishment of terpine resin standard.
