According to one of presentation, which provide by Mr.Wang Yao, Director of China Coatings Association on Boao Assia Forum, 2006 has seen a great increase on production volume for China coatings industry, the total output will breakthrough 4.5 million tons; however, the cost of raw material sharply rose up and the profit for coatings produers dropped down greatly.
According to the public statistic, the output of coating reached 4.16 million tons from January to October in 2006, over pass the whole production volume of 3.82 million tons in 2005.
