"Gum rosin market symposium and trade fair" was hold by Guangxi Forestry Industry and Association in Beihai, Guangxi province from March 31st to April first. More than 200 participants from gum rosin industry took part in the seminar, most of them from the two biggest gum rosin-producing province, Guangxi and Guangdong. At the seminar, gum rosin production and market trend were heated discussed among participants.
At the morning of March thirty-first, Mr. Pei, the deputy chief of Guangxi Forstry Bureau, and Mr. Chen, the deputy mayor of Beihai city address to the opening of the seminar. Consequently, Mr. Yongping Huang, the deputy secretary general of Guangxi Forestry Industry Association, made a speech of “rationalization of gum rosin price” to the seminar. Ms. Li Yi, the director of Sub-chamber of Forest Chemicals in China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-products, and Mr. Chuping Zhou, the general manager of Wuzhou Foreign Trade Corporation, and officer of inspection bureau also made speech to the seminar. At the afternoon the day, participants from different units discussed and shared theirs opinion.
On April first, gum rosin trade fair was hold, buyers and sellers hold the opportunity to expand theirs business.
