Sun Chemical has launched EMD5800, its newest nanosilver ink designed for use with industry leading inkjet systems.

Drawing from the global resources of Sun Chemical’s Electronic Materials group, EMD5800 delivers the industry’s best performing low temperature sintering properties. The unique chemistry offers long open life, superior jetting performance, and compatibility with most commercial and industrial printheads. With EMD5800 inks, it now becomes possible to work with one nanosilver from prototype to production.

“Nanosilver products are an important and growing part of our advanced material product line,” said Roy Bjorlin, commercial director, Sun Chemical Electronic Materials. “Development of this technology has accelerated in recent years and our customers will be able to take advantage of lower costs and the optimized formulations we continue to develop. With its superior conductivity and low temperature sintering, EMD5800 nanosilver ink creates a strong value proposition for applications such as printed antennas, OLED and OPV.”
