Ashland increases prices on vinyl caprolactam products

DUBLIN, Ohio – Ashland Specialty Ingredients, a business unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE:ASH), is increasing prices for its V-CAP™ vinyl caprolactam products 10 percent,effective July 1 or as contracts allow.
The change reflects evolving market conditions and will allow Ashland to continue toprovide its customers with the premium level services that they currently receive.
Vinyl caprolactam is used as a reactive diluent for adhesives, coatings and inks, and as a building block for hydrophobic polymers used in many applications.
