Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) announced the 100% acquisition of New Era Packaging (New Era), effective Feb. 2, 2015.
New Era is based near Dublin, Ireland and specializes in labels for the healthcare, pharmaceutical and food industries with annual revenues of approximately €12 million (US$14 million).
This acquisition creates a greater focus on the growing healthcare label market. John Peat, New Era’s joint managing director, and the management team will continue to run the business and operate from their current facility.
“We are excited to have John and team join us,” said Nigel Vinecombe, MCC president and CEO. “We supply the Healthcare label market in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Poland and see Europe as a large market we can develop, especially with the expertise from New Era.”
