In recent years, our annual export volume of gum rosin and gum turpentine oil steadily increases, in which annual export volume of gum rosin keeps over 30 thousand tons and its export value reaches more than 20 million USD. Our export volume ranks the first in China for many years. From 2003 to 2005, our gum rosin export volume has consecutively ranked the first in China. In 2005, our total trade volume and export volume of gum rosin hit a new record of 50 thousand tons and 35 thousand tons respectively, sale in domestic market also gained rapid development and 15 thousand tons was dealt, considerable economic and social benefits has been created. Since the cancellation of limitation on gum rosin export business in 2000, enterprises which engage in gum rosin export business increase from 40 in 2001 to 115 in 2005.
