Price increase for Arkema's functional polyolefins

Print this page Arkema announces a price increase of €100/MT for its entire Functional Polyolefin range effective March 1st 2012: Evatane® (High Content Ethylene - Vinyl Acetate Copolymers), Lotryl® (Ethylene – Acrylate Copolymers), Lotader® (Ethylene – Acrylate Terpolymers), and Orevac® (Grafted Polyolefins).
These price increases have become unavoidable following the steady rise in the cost of the main raw materials.
Marketed under the tradenames Evatane®, Lotryl®, Lotader® and Orevac®, Arkema’s Functional Polyolefins are used in wide-ranging industrial applications, including hotmelt adhesives, cables, multilayer packaging films, technical polymer modification, solar panels, petroleum additives, bitumens and inks.
