Reichhold Inc has announced a price increase on all unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl ester resins and flame retardant resins sold in North America for the composites industry.
The price increase of US$0.06/lb is effective for all orders shipped on or after 15 March.
“Persistent escalation of raw material prices and a limited supply of some raw materials continue to increase our costs, leaving us no choice but to raise our prices," explains Bill Schramm, Vice-President Commercial North American Composites, Reichhold. "Raw material costs are expected to rise continually through the first quarter, primarily as the result of numerous planned outages and increased demand."
Reichhold, headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA, is a manufacturer of unsaturated polyester resins and a supplier of coating resins for the industrial, transportation, building and construction, marine, consumer and graphic arts markets.
