WILMINGTON, Del. — Ashland Hercules Water Technologies, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), will increase prices on Jan. 14 for its portfolio of polyacrylamide products. This will be a global price increase ranging from 5 to 15 percent, or as contracts allow.
Norbert Steiner, global business director, Ashland Hercules Water Technologies, said, "The continuing price increase of several critical raw materials, coupled with increases in energy and transportation costs has pushed us to again adjust our prices accordingly. However, we will continue to work in partnership with our customers to help mitigate these cost increases."
