Fujian province is located in the southeast coastal area of China. According to Fujian customs statistics, the province exported gum rosin series products totally 5,063 Mt during the past seven months, valued 8.23 million USD, with an average price of 1,625USD/Mt, generally traded with EU countries. Compared to the same period last year, gross export volume decreased by 32.8%, but export value and average price moved up by 27.5% and 89.7 separately.
For lower output volume of gum rosin in China, some export enterprises lifted up their bid price in order to get more pine oleoresins; while farmers tap pine oleoresin at any time just for taking immediate profit. Moreover, gum rosin export countries, such as Indonesia and Vietnam, are very competitive in world market with lower price, which put a negative impact on China gum rosin products exportation.
