COLUMBUS, Ohio – (March 24, 2010) - Effective April 20, 2010, or as contracts allow, Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc.’s North America Coatings business will implement price increases on the following product lines:
| Vinyl Acrylic Latexes | $0.03 per wet pound |
| Acrylic & Styrene-Acrylic Latexes | $0.07 per wet pound |
| Solution Acrylic Resins | Up to $0.20 per pound |
| Liquid Polyester Resins | Up to $0.15 per pound |
| Polyester Powder Resins | Up to $0.12 per pound |
| Modified Alkyds | Up to $0.08 per pound |
| All other Alkyds | Up to $0.07 per pound |
These price changes are necessary due to the limited availability and significant ongoing cost escalation of key raw materials used in the production of these coating resins.
