High pine oleoresin yield Pinus massoniana nursery base is in construction.

From the beginning of the second half of 2008, General Administration of Guangdong Forest Technology Application, Provincial Forest Science Institute and Longyandong Forest Farm began to construct “High pine oleoresin yield Pinus massoniana nursery base”, aiming at popularizing excellent pine variety, putting research achievement into commercialization and providing high quality nursery stock for industrial use forest in Guangdong province. The base is located in Muyuan Industrial Area of Longyandong Forest Farm, at present, Workers has already flatten forest field, refilled soil, connected water pipe and set up electric supply,etc. It is reported that the High pine oleoresin yield Pinus massoniana variety was breeded by Provincial Forest Science Institute and other organization through long term systematic development. Auto-irrigation system will be set up in the base later, it is estimated that the project will be put into production in 2010, three years later, the capacity will reach 3 million nurseries per year.
