Recent, Cenxi City released Enforcement Regulation for Developing Pine Oleoresin Industry effected this year which announced to set special fund valued no less than 3 million RMB each year in cultivating pine seedling, building pine oleoresin center, promoting advanced technology and so on.
Cenxi city is one of the biggest pine oleoresin producing cites in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In 2011, pine cultivation area reached 1.56 million mu in Cenxi city which provided 16,401 tons pine oleoresin and 7,464 tons gum rosin worth about 442 million RMB. To accelerate development of pine oleoresin industry, local government released many regulations which aim to build highly concentrated and rapid growth pine center that covers an area of 1.65 million mu and provides no less than 25,000 ton annually by 2015.
