“Innovative sustainable consumption: challenging the entire value chain” is the title of a presentation to be held by Kasper Rorsted, Henkel’s Chief Executive Officer, at the World Conference on Detergents – the world’s premier detergent industry forum – due to be held in Montreux, Switzerland, from October 5 to 7.
“What needs to be done to promote innovative sustainable consumption? How can the detergent industry contribute? What are the concomitant challenges along the value chain? – so read the primary questions to be addressed in a presentation that will be held by Henkel CEO, Kasper Rorsted, on October 6, 2010 at the World Conference on Detergents in Montreux.

Henkel is a leader in the sustainability field. The performance of the company in this domain is rated as excellent in renowned national and international rankings. Indeed, for the fourth time in a row, Henkel has been recognized as sector leader in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index. Henkel again took first place in the Non-durable Household Products category and is the sole company of its sector in these indices.

The World Conference on Detergents, the seventh of its kind since 1977, convenes in Montreux from October 5 to 7. The event sees representatives of all the leading detergent manufacturers and raw material suppliers joining with scientists and academics to discuss "New Strategies in a Dynamic Global Economy".
